Detroit Lions postgame: Ndamukong Suh, Matthew Stafford dominate Tampa Bay Buccaneers

A quick roundup from the Detroit Lions' 34-17 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers:
THREE STARS
Matthew Stafford -- It's hard to have a better day than Stafford just had. He finished 26 of 34 for 311 yards, three touchdowns, no interceptions and a final QB rating of 133.3. Stafford now has back-to-back 100-plus passer rating games for the first time since the end of 2011, coincidentally the last time the Lions made the playoffs.
Ndamukong Suh -- Suh was a beast in the backfield and Josh McCown's burden all day long. Despite the fact that he might be receiving a FedEx envelope from the league office this week for a late hit on the Tampa QB (as FOX analyst Brady Quinn suggested), Suh was dominant way beyond his listed stats of five tackles and one sack.
Calvin Johnson -- Many Lions deserved a special shout out after today's win, but it's hard not to put Johnson here with his loaded stat sheet. Johnson finished the day with eight receptions for 158 yards and one touchdown. Whenever the Bucs defense gambled and went with single coverage on him, he won.
BY THE NUMBERS
122.5 -- In the first quarter alone, Matthew Stafford went 12 of 15 for 121 yards, a touchdown and a quarterback rating of 122.5.
5 -- Glover Quin's five interceptions this season are the most by a Detroit Lions safety since Kurt Schulz in 2000.
43 -- With a 53-yard catch in the third quarter, Calvin Johnson went over 100 yards receiving for the 43rd time. Forty-three 100-yard games is 12th all time in the NFL. It's also the 20th time he's had back-to-back 100-yard receiving games
57 -- Joique Bell's 57-yard run in the fourth quarter was the longest run from scrimmage for the Lions this season.
39 -- Of the 39 times he dropped back today against the Lions, Tampa QB Josh McCown was sacked five times, hit six times and hurried 12 times.
9 -- The Lions had lost nine straight December games headed into today.
