Fans tuning in to Hollyoaks tonight will see the local hospital under
siege by Big Bob, with Freddie Roscoe getting shot as the situation
unfolds – But will he die?
As
we have previously reported, Freddie was originally in Dee Valley
Hospital with Big Bob to raid the pharmacy for their underworld drug
world.
However,
as fans will have seen last night, the situation got out of control
when Lindsey Butterfield (Sophie Austin) realised what they are up to
and tried to raise the alarm, which caused Big Bob to take the hospital under siege, and everyone inside hostage.
Tonight,
in a bid to try and make the police go easier on him Big Bob, under the
persuasion of Freddie (Charlie Clapham) agrees to let heavily pregnant
Lindsey go, but as she makes her way to the door, her boss boss runs past
her, desperate to get out, causing the gun to go off and the bullet to
hit Freddie.
Big Bob isn’t too keen to let anyone help the Roscoe
gangster, but Lindsey and her sister Kim see to his wounds regardless,
whilst Lindsey tells him to hang in there as she lied, her baby might be
his after all!
Will this information be enough to pull Freddie through?
Charlie
Clapham and Sophie Austin, who play Freddie and Lindsey in the hit
Channel 4 soap, have been discussing the storyline in a backstage video
released by the official Hollyoaks website,
during which Austin admits that the reveal about the baby is like
opening “a big can of worms”, as the shooting may well make her face up
to her feelings and decide “whether she is in love with Freddie or Joe”
once and for all!
The actress went on to explain how her character
is “totally confused” but admitted that if anything were to come of her
and Freddie as a couple then he would have to “sort out his dark ways!
But none of that matters if Freddie doesn’t come out of the siege
alive, but not even Charlie Clapham, the super cute and talented actor
who plays him, knows whether that will happen, as he explained;
“Will
Freddie survive? Well, who knows? I suppose being in hospital is a
great place to be if you’ve just been shot, but not one that’s been
taken under siege and especially when you’re being held hostage. There’s
not a lot anyone else can do. I would not like to die as Freddie, so
hopefully I won’t!”
We most definitely do not want Charlie to die as Freddie either – He is one of our favourites!!! #PrayForFreddie
