The Majestic Lunch in Pittston is donating half of the sales on Saturday to the families of Corporal Dickson and Trooper Douglass, the two troopers shot in the ambush in Pike County. There were some guest servers on hand, including Luzerne County District Attorney Stefanie Salavantis and the Pittston police chief.
“We’re bringing the community together and showing our support for the family and for all law enforcement,” said Salavantis.
Representatives from the Pennsylvania Game Commission, the Luzerne County Sheriff’s Office and other law enforcement officers helped out at Saturday’s fundraiser in Luzerne County.
