DALLAS, Texas -- The nurse who became the first person in the United States to contract the Ebola virus on American soil has been identified as Nina Pham. Pham is a 2010 graduate of Texas Christian University (TCU) in Arlington, Texas.
The family reached out to a Dallas television station, WFAA according to a report
on KENS5 San Antonio. Breitbart Texas also confirmed this information
with other reporters who spoke with neighbors early this morning.Pham is a 2010 graduate of the nursing school at TCU.
Breitbart Texas spoke with neighbors last night about Pham. “We used to walk our dogs together,” said a man who lives in the apartment building next door to Pham. He described the dog as a small dog and said he was concerned about what will happen to it.
He also said he is very concerned for Pham who contracted the Ebola virus while attending to Thomas Eric Duncan, the Liberian man who brought this virus to America.
Other neighbors said they did not know her directly but had frequently seen her walking the dog on the streets of the neighborhood known as “M Streets”. This section of Dallas got its name because all of the street names in this district begin with the letter M.
